My record for fastest trip ever. Not really proud of it, but I just didn’t have more time. I arrived in Akureyri on the 12th of September, and had to leave on the 14th. The 15th I had to guide a group to Finland. Anyway, that gave me roughly 24 hours of light to shoot. I had planned too much as usual, so only half of my plan worked out. But I can’t complain. I finally saw a decent sunset and sunrise (my previous visits were in high summer) and I enjoyed that!
I also took a flight over Skeidararsandur, an amazing area for aerial photography!
Wanted to stay longer of course…But I often do. Next time.
Thanks Kjartan from Travel to Iceland for helping organising this quick visit 😉
