The patterns and structures we discover from the air tell us stories about our natural history and the behaviour of nature and people. On clear-skied days and golden mornings, the landscape views are stunning. In Belgium, I regularly cooperate with Vilda and the Flemish government to make images of Flanders’ coasts, nature reserves, and other natural areas, exploring them by helicopter. And on my North Pole expeditions, I use drones to get an overview of the breathtaking Arctic scenery.
