DALMATIAN PELICANS IN SIGHT
Before Dalmatian Pelicans breed, they gather at Lake Kerkini in Greece. During this photography trip, we will spend several days photographing these once-nearly-extinct pelicans. You’ll be able to use literally any lens, including wide-angle lenses! There is something for every photographer.
THE MOST EXQUISITE SETTING
Each day brings new lighting conditions and creative possibilities. You will be challenged to analyze your personal images and push your photographic boundaries throughout the trip. As your guide, I’m happy to share all my photographic techniques with the group. This isn’t just a photography trip; it’s a true photography workshop, where you immediately apply your knowledge in a fantastic setting.
Accommodation and Transport
We will stay in a comfortable hotel near the lake. All rooms are single rooms. Couples can, of course, choose a double room.
We will travel by minibus. The roads in Greece vary in quality.
Flights are not included in the price. For guaranteed departure, we will look for the best flight price/quality ratio. Expect to pay between 250-400 euros per person. You can book these yourself or through us.
Climate and Clothing
It can cool down in the mornings and evenings, which is exactly when the best moments for photography occur. Therefore, make sure to bring enough warm winter clothing to work comfortably.
Rain is possible, so an umbrella is a good idea.
Equipment
During this trip, I will share all my knowledge about photography and be available for all your questions. With a lens as large as 70-200mm or 300mm f4, you’ll already be well-equipped for this journey.
