Canada – Snowy owls

Snowy owls in the high north

Snowy owls breed in the far north of Alaska and Canada on the nearly inaccessible Arctic tundra. But in winter, they descend in large numbers to the southern parts of Ontario and Quebec. We find them around authentic farming villages and vast, snow-covered polder fields – an amazing photo setting!
